Plastic Man and Giant Man

While I liked Bill Foster as a supporting cast member in Marvel Two-In-One, I wish he could have had a higher profile back in the day, perhaps as a member of the Avengers.  I think he did join year later, just long enough to be killed off in a crossover event.  Just more wasted potential for a great character.

Couldn't agree more. Underdeveloped characters are shy lots of fans do their own stories.

Underdeveloped characters are WHY lots of fans do their own stories.
This is a truly timeless cover.

Fun stuff. Who's the mad scientist?

Comics isn't the only place where Bill was underutilized. I'm hoping we get to see Laurence Fishburne stomping around for at least one scene in the next Ant-Man film. (But not in this costume... please.)

Oh, yeah!

The Superhero Civil War...featuring Black Goliath's death at the hands of Thor's clone (or LMD or whatever). That's the story arc that finally convinced me to just read DC and indies (Dynamite, Valiant II, IDW, etc.)!

He was much better utilized, in the 1970's, as both a lone hero and a sometime ally of The Champions.

Laurence Fishburne could be used in flashback using technology like they used for Captain America: First Avenger but in reverse.

I loved Bill Foster's Giant Man. It'd be fantastic to have him (or a successor) in any new Avengers film, though I'm pretty sure Cassie will fill that slot. Perhaps we could see him on an early adventure with the Fantastic Four when they appear, matching his brain with Reed and his brawn with Ben.

I'm wondering if she's not really a Prince from Nigeria that has a special request for help. Been around a long time.

Bill Was around a long time. He deserved to be treated better.

@FitT: I don't think Nigeria even has a monarchy.

Anony Mouse said...

@Anonymous @FitT you're right it doesn't. Former British colony, Nigeria became independent on September 30, 1960 and a Republic on October 1, 1963. The first independent government was formed by a coalition of northern and eastern political parties, with Nnamdi Azikiwe as the president and Abubakar Tafawa Balewa as prime minister.
But that still wouldn't stop some people from claiming that.

Bill is being treated like a foster child. Writers spend time together working out the next year or so. They changed him from a scientist to a replacement super hero. They knew what they were doing.

Paula, Vampire diaries is over. CW may be looking for a replacement. never know.
Fangs for the memories.

On a lighter note; if anybody's looking for a shortcut to some prime Floridian real estate, I have this wonderful bridge in Brooklyn for sale. Bargain price!
