Oberon and Puck

This cover is a tribute to my bygone acting days.  One of my big roles in school was Bottom from A Midsummer Night's Dream.  Since my character transformed into a donkey in that play, I heard plenty of variations on "Ross is an ass" during that production, believe me!  While my desire to perform is long behind me, I still look back fondly on those times.

I like this. This is good.

It could've been worse, Ross. You could've been Puck. Then, you'd have heard multiple variants of "Holy Crap! Ross is a f---y!!"

Absolutely brilliant concept and title!

If you were on the boards and not fencing you might be singing or dancing. Buttttttt, here you are with a web site touching the world of fans. Not only looked at, but responded to. That took PlUCK. IF you had stayed an actor you might have needed to change your id. Would you have been into comics by any other name?
At least it's much to do about Something.

And here I thought the connection between these two would've been their height (or lack thereof)!

But hey, drawing on Horsefeathers' comment, if you were an actor and a comics fan you might now be in the MCU or the Arrowverse. So, taking your age into account, who do you think you'd be playing in those respective worlds? (Supporting cast is fair game.)

For my own part, I've mentioned that I do some acting, though these days the boards I tread are virtual (I just did a run as Justice Shallow in The Merry Wives of Windsor). At 59, I might still have a chance at playing Sandman on The Flash or Stargirl; I have no idea who I'd be in the MCU, though a certain Mr. Trask does seem like a possibility.

@Cary: It still could've happened; in the play, Oberon is the king of the fairies.

Very clever matchup. I wish I'd thought of it lol.
But this would be a very short fight.

Haha at 51 and 5'7" I'm too short and old for the CW. Maybe Al Pratt?

PS: Here's a really bizarre idea that just popped into my mind:

Galactus, the Eater of Worlds, chooses as his next Herald... the Condiment King!

@Bob Here's one that popped into mine. Galactus vs. Starbreaker. A world eater against a suneater! @Ross great cover idea! A team up I've thought about but never suggested.

@BG: the real one, from BOOKS OF MAGIC, might have something to say about that. ;-)

Or whoever adapted the original Shakespearian story, for Classics Illustrated, back in the early 1970's.

To be met with The Starbucks planet.
What would happen if Galactus swallowed a black hole? or ate a small sun?

He actually did eat a black hole, once, if I recall correctly. And it put him in a coma that dilated time for ten square light years (iirc).

As for eating suns? I think a certain renegade Controller from the 31st century DCU might have something to say about that. ;-D

@Anon724: I'd ask him. But, he isn't talking. Due to having been mysteriously scared to death! ;-)

Might be interesting to see Big Barda with Puck. :)

She'd probably do to him what the rest of the JLA only narrowly kept her from doing to Plastic Man! ;-)

@Anon & Fishman; you mean, making him resemble the Origami Man? :-)
