Dial "H" For Hulk

I was getting interested in the potential casting of Alison Brie as She-Hulk in the upcoming Disney+ Series, but since the global pandemic has shifted all of Hollywood's schedules, we won't be seeing it hit screens until 2022 (along with Ms. Marvel and Moon Knight).  I'm guessing it will be a while before we hear any more news on the show in that case.  I had also read that Mark Ruffalo's Hulk would be appearing in the show.  I wonder if he will show up anywhere else in the MCU before then.

While I am still a big fan of Robbie Reed, I did appreciate this new take on the series..especially since it included Robbie in its structure. It was a fun read. Your concept for the H-dial specialising in doing just Hulk conversions is SMASHING!
Doing it right after using Batson as Captain Marvel means you can create a new team of The Teen Brigade as well. What fun, oh joy.

I loved the first two incarnations of Dial H for Hero (they used four of my creations!), and the fourth was the only New 52 series that I liked. Didn't care for the third version; Will Pfeifer's dark, cynical spin turned me off. I haven't read the latest revival yet.

A 5'3", 37 year old actress playing the She-Hulk? Either they have really good CGI (for both) or it is being played with another actress as the She-Hulk like in the TV show.

My understanding is that the pandemic is only affecting Marvel Phase 4, pushing each movie back one slot and delaying the first two Disney+ shows; the shows coinciding with Phase 5 will go on as scheduled. That said, it so happens that those three shows were already scheduled for 2022.

I also understand that Banner will be appearing in the MCU before She-Hulk, though it hasn't been decided where.

I agree with Cary about today's cover. Nice work finding images of Hulk & She-Hulk that coincide with the poses on Chris & Vicki. It would be interesting to learn how they got H-U-L-K on their dials; in the comics (I had to look this up on Wikipedia to refresh my memory) they only had the letters H-E-R-O. It was only Robby's dial that had other letters, allowing others to dial V-I-L-L-A-I-N and H-E-R-O-I-N-E, and Robby himself to dial S-P-L-I-T.

(That last bit was something I'd completely forgotten about until I read it just now. It made me think: what if Robby were to dial S-P-L-I-T again, and become the robotic Captain Marvel? It'd be a further interesting twist to team him with Monica Rambeaux.)

PS @Glenn: Of course they have really good CGI. You've seen MCU movies, right? Not only the Hulk, but Thanos, Iron Man, Spider-Man, and several others are done with performance capture.

How about Dial "H" for Hero and Ben 10; similar transformation fashions.

Similar transformation fashions also could apply to He-Man and Mighty Mightor.

Are they, perchance, going after a mind-controlled Green Team?

ok, ok. Gotta ask. If the dials get switched, can the guy become the female superhero and vice versa?

missed it by that much but ( said...

touch the right hole and the devices self dial.

Anonymous@11:14 : Yes, but He-Man and Mightor each only have one other form that they change into. Ben 10 has ten, and the Dial H kids have thousands.

I've heard that Ben 10 was originally conceived as a Dial H animated series, but was changed to an original concept in order to keep creators' rights.

Perfect. Such a fantastic example of how fun this blog is.

Never would have come up with it even though it fits together so well.
