Don't forget the team's reaction to Thor's acceptance of the Vision after he picked up the hammer to give back to Thor. Since Tony couldn't pick it up even with I.M.'s glove being used, the enchantment was working the same way on machines as well. But, since Cap couldn't pick it up in the Age of Ultron installment, I wonder what changed?

Ahhhh, good times. The Marvel films have all been enjoyable for me.I remember the crowd laugh in the first Avengers film when Thor said, "Listen to me-" to Loki and his reply was "I'm listening...?"
I remember the cheers when the Death Star exploded in Star Wars. I miss going to the theater.
Clearly, Dan is Worthy, despite his transformation into a demon.
I, likewise, was looking forward to seeing Mulan, Black Widow, and Wonder Woman 1984 in the theaters; I guess I still will, whenever the pandemic is done. New Mutants, on the other hand, will probably go directly to video.
By the way, I had to go look up Blue Devil on Wikipedia to remind myself of his real name (Dan Cassidy), and saw where one of the ideas to influence his creation was the Green Goblin. It might be fun to see those two face off some time.
@Tobor: The directors have revealed that, in Age of Ultron, Cap was faking so as to not embarrass Thor and the others.
I have to admit, I'm a little disappointed. Here it is, Easter Sunday morning. And not even so much as Bugs Bunny driving the Magic School Bus while hovering over the punny title of "Rabbit Transit?!"

I am ready to get back to some resemblance of normalcy. Our state has a stay at home rule, but there are no real teeth to it. Essentials are not bound by it, but the definition of "essentials" is so overly broad that almost anyone could get out.
What I hate the most is that it is Easter Sunday, and I am not able to go to my church service. They record a service and put it on You Tube. I suppose that is better than nothing, but it's just not the same. I respect anyone's beliefs that disagree with me, but church is something that is important to me and means a lot to me personally.

Mickey, I'm really not sure how to respond to your comment, particularly as this blog is based around comic book covers.
Quarantines and lock downs are frustrating, and people all over the world are missing out on things that mean a lot to them. I know I am.
It's really important for everyone to understand that we all need to miss out on important things temporarily, so that we and others don't miss out on them permanently.
People missing out on church services this Easter means fewer people being the star attraction at funerals.
It's hard missing out on services for Easter, Passover, Ramadan, whatever you celebrate; sporting events; movies and theatre, etc. etc. But it's better for everyone in the long run and that's why we have to do it.
It's hard, but we all need to stand together so we don't fall together.

Yes, Anonymous, I agree with you. I suppose that my post could have been construed as self-centered, but I didn't mean it that way. I was only lamenting about how tough it is to miss out on certain things, and Easter Sunday is one of those things, a special Sunday to me. Indeed, I am making every endeavor to stay at home, only getting out when absolutely necessary to purchase food and other groceries. In the long run, as you say, it is better for everyone to make the sacrifices that must be made so that one day soon, thing may return to as normal as possible.
Ah, talking of the theatre experience....
I do recall sharing the experience of applauding the Stan Lee montage at the start of Captain Marvel (admittedly, I was the one who started it in my theater), the wild applause when Cap caught Mjolnir in Avengers: Endgame, and the gasps of pleasure when JK Simmons did his post-credit cameo at the end of Spider-Man: Far From Home, to name just a few.
Besides being a church member, I'm also a participant in community theatre, which is another thing that's shut down for the duration of the pandemic.
Fortunately, both my church (Empowered Church in Corvallis, OR) and my community theatre (Majestic Theatre, also in Corvallis) have taken to doing things on Facebook Live. With the ability to type in comments, it's a whole different kind of group experience.
(For anyone interested, the live virtual church service is Sundays at 10am and the virtual theatre presentation is Saturdays at 7:30pm).

As he appeasers here, you're correct. He was changed into a full demon in a later Justice League miniseries.
Ross, great cover, but it needed poppa smurf standing next to Big Blue for a balance.
As to the value of the quarantines, CNN has a sign on screen:
World cases- 1,833,685 and world deaths - 113,296 (6%) while
U.S. cases - 546,874 and U.S. deaths - 21, 686 ( almost 4%) showing that while the U.S. has little more than 1/3 of the total of world cases, it only has roughly 1/6 of the deaths! That is a BIG difference. Have patience it's worth it.
As for Ross he is a maestro of the non existent. He is a conductor of images that
exist in parts only. He has to arrange them together. But...., he has two libraries;
the real from comics a.n.d. the virtual that exist on the web and can be gotten with a screen copy of some kind. For all this, he is not being paid for a career or even a job. Compliments are fine but limited. He gets no assist. He is isolated.
Isolated in the real world, perhaps. But, in cyberspace, we are all connected. At least, that's what the little kid on "Manifest" keeps claiming!
Who knows, one day the 'Blue Devil' will meet the 'red devil' Hellboy.
Social isolation does not have to mean religious isolation or from those we love and care about. Keep your faith wherever you are. But stay home to help everyone overcome this pandemic. In addition to preserving functioning health services, it will save lives. I have no idea of a better way to honor true Christian teaching - to love one's neighbor as oneself - than to preserve oneself and to help preserve others. Happy Easter/Pessach, dear brothers!

I've always thought Loki and Blue Devil would be a good pair. Loki would pick up his mystical pitchfork and say "What are you going to do about it?" and Dan would pick up Loki's spear and say "Well I think this will do something about it."
I'd like to see a cover-sim where BD is revealed to be a long-lost Jedi of mixed Devaronian and Chagrian parentage.
Horsefeathers, is that really how they are reporting the statistics in the USA? That’s really scary.
The USA has somewhere between 4 and 5% of the world’s population and around 1/3 of its coronavirus cases, partly because its governments haven’t learnt lessons from other places, and partly because of other reasons that don’t belong on this blog. I don’t think this thread should continue on Ross’s blog, but I urge all readers to understand the risks and keep safe. This is serious, and I am glad to have this blog here: it’s great for our mental health!
