Okay, here's what I think: since Gail Simone is #PleaseMarvelDC, Captain America and Wonder Woman should be a post-pandemic team-up. I believe that we need Gal Gadot and Chris Evan's Wonder Woman and Captain America!

Diana looks like she came from Super Friends. She also fought more counterparts of herself in the fifties than even Steve did in the seventies. Nice to not see her pining after Steve or Bruce or Clark.

Twins twice in a row. Two Face would have been good in this.
"Batman fighting disfigured gangsters" reminds me of how much Dick Tracy has also done the same, and you've done a decent share of bringing us such pairings. He hasn't gone one-on-one against Two-Face, nor dealt with the Mad Hatter or Mr. Freeze at all, but that's probably only a matter of time. I'd like to see Batman deal with some of Tracy's classic foes such as Flattop, Mumbles, or Influence.
It's kind of interesting that this should be the plot of the Mirror Master's scheme, since something very similar is brewing with his gender-swapped Arrowverse counterpart on The Flash. This is some nice composition here, and except for the background I wouldn't be able to tell that this wasn't all done by one person. At a guess, I'd say that in the original art the face Cap and Wonder Woman are the ones on the right.
I'm still supporting the suggestion (though who originally made it is lost to me) of a cover where Steve and Diana have daughter, in the person of American Maid! (It probably would have to be some sort of follow-up to #662, though, or at least acknowledge it.)
@AirDave: We may just have to settle for what Ross did back in #2260, especially since the cinematic Steve has gotten old and retired. (That cover may have to be retroactively revisited, though: Cheetah has been cast with Kristin Wiig rather than Yvonne Strahovsky; and while Kang hasn't been cast, he's expected in one of the upcoming Disney+ programs and likely won't be Courtney B. Vance.)
@Carycomic: I was thinking Trevor at first, too, but I think Tobor meant Steve Rogers.

Ah, you reversed the Captain Americas there. Had to dig thru my collection to be sure. Cabin fever setting in already I guess. Good selection from Cap 156.
Ken, yup - I find characters with symmetrical costumes easier to use since I can flip them if the composition requires it.

By the way, in the spirit of your own efforts here, someone over at Adeel of Steel created some fan based content that added Wonder Woman to Endgame. Much like the STFP, Steve and Diana end up together.

And maybe they are in BIG trouble - planet Earth is going to explode. Nothing the noble twosome can do to stop it.
But what they can do is place the tot in a small rocket and launch him into space...towards a far-off inhabited planet...

Actually, I like the idea of a character called "American Wonder". Did such a character ever exist? I can't find one.
Fishing: There's no American Wonder in the comics, but I did find one who was a sample character in the Basic Action Super Heroes RPG. The art style on that illo isn't entirely incompatible with that of the animated Tick series, so he could possibly show up as American Maid's brother.
PS: Searching for a character named American Wonder led me to Nubia, a character who I'm unhappy to not remember from when I was originally reading comics, as she seems like a very cool character. I think it would be a good idea for the third WW movie to introduce both her and (a very young) Donna Troy; then, if the DCEU continues beyond Gal Gadot playing Diana (most likely from her aging out of the role), the title of Wonder Woman can be filled first by Nubia and then by Donna.
Nubia's never appeared on this blog, but I think she'd be an interesting partner with Storm, Black Panther, or any other African superhero Marvel has. Most specifically, a Nubia/Storm cover for next February 1 would be a great way to kick off Black History Month.
