There has been a lot of talk about Kraven possibly being a villain in the next Spider-Man movie, and his live action debut is long overdue. Who best to play him, though? I used to think Jeffrey Dean Morgan, but he seems to be looking a little older and thinner these days. Gerard Butler could be an interesting choice, he still seems to be in decent shape.

Fudd fudged all over! Yipe.
I'd still go with Morgan. He can bulk up, and make up can handle the wrinkles.
Thanks for making me laugh. I needed that.
Elmer will run and hide... after which, Kraven doesn't stand a chance. It'd be almost as bad (and almost as much fun) as if Yakko, Wakko, and Dot Warner* were to declare Wilson Fisk their "Special Friend for the Day."
Fan art I've seen for Kraven has fan-cast Jason Momoa. I think he'd be fantastic in the role, though he may be a little busy with Aquaman 2 and other projects (or at least he will be, once things open up after the pandemic eases). Jason Staitham might do, despite his age; usually his voice bothers me, but in this case it might do. (Tom Welling would work great, but I'm pretty sure he's sworn off all of that sort of thing.)
*For all the great possibilities that could be had with no only the Warners but also Pinky & the Brain and others of the Animaniacs cast, I'm a little surprised that none of them have appeared on this blog. Just not a fan, Ross?
First of all? I love the title! Chuck Jones would be proud.
Secondly? Considering what Marvel/Disney did to "Capt. Marvel," they're more likely to cast _Yancy_ Butler...as Kraven the Huntress!
Never watched much of either show, Bob.
A shame, Ross. It lasted for as many years as it did, and got its spinoff in Pinky and the Brain, for good reason, Tom Ruegger is a comic genius, and was in his best form with those two shows. If you get Hulu, there's a revival/reboot on there, and I think (though I could be mistaken) that the original show is on there as well.
Among other things (which I've already mentioned, at one time or another), I certainly could see Buttons joining Ace and the Dogs of War for an adventure!
Okay Kraven, of course you realize this means war. LOL I don't like Kraven's odds against the Wabbit
Kraven isn't evil, he's just drawn that wa....never mind.
wait a minute. wasn't he the male model in the 1960s Spider-Man model kit? Ah, have times changed.
Personally, I like Ross's suggestion of Gerard Butler. I'm sure he could use the work, too! I have to say, though, that I'm disappointed that he never got into Animaniacs. He's missing out.
@Force field using Horsefeathers: Nice paraphrasing Jessica Rabbit: also, in at least one Spider-man cartoon (in the 1990s), Kraven was acting like a villain due to an experimental drug.
@Anon 9:43 AM: Is there, at least in fan fiction, a character called Xenus: Warrior Prince, designed like Conan the Barbarian when in stories where he is in an ancient soldier-style armor "dress"?
@Anonymous301: actually, that was Bruce Campbell in drag as "Ashley Williams" in EVILLY DRESSED (co-starring Mister Blackwell).
@Carycomic: Anonymous301: What are you talking about?; BYW, I was thinking of a MALE Xena.
The actor from Game of Thrones who played the Hound would be great as Kraven. Rory McCann I think his name is.
@Anon612: I know what you meant. I was just poking subtle fun at Bruce Campbell having played both Autolycus (on HERCULES: TLJ as well as XWP) and Ash Williams in the "Evil Dead" flicks.
Next thing you know, they'll have "Brisco County, Jr. vs. The Army of Darkness!"
@Cary: Now you've brought back memories of the Xena episode "Men in Pink."
My mistake; that was a Hercules episode.
The blonde teenage one from Disney?
We only Drank FFud around Heyar.
