Swamp Thing and The Fantastic Four

Presenting the conclusion to our three-part epic!  Let's hope the FF can reverse whatever treatment the Mole Man had administered!

Word is that JJ Abrams is working on bringing  members of Justice League Dark to the big screen.  Swamp Thing has seen solo action in two movies, a tv series, a cartoon show, and most recently an abruptly cancelled streaming show.  I'm betting that DC does not want to go to that well one more time for now, and we will see him in a team setting next.

"A fatal case of hay fever"? You probably meant this as just a case of Ben putting something complex into terms that fit his own simple way of understanding things, but as a literal situation this could be a real threat. I suffer hay fever myself, and I don't even want to think about what it'd be like if it went into anaphylactic territory. I'd probably have to move to the coast, if not someplace like Arizona, the Virgin Islands, or Belize. And of course those places would be getting quite crowded quite quickly.

Well, I'm sure Reed can pull a solution out from between those grey temples of his.

And don't count Swamp Thing out too quickly. The show on DC Universe was cancelled because of a financial snag with the North Carolina government, not because of anything wrong with the show. The only reason DC might want to delay anything with him would be to avoid audiences thinking that it has a connection with that show. If he were to show up in Legends of Tomorrow this season or next, for example, even I might think that it's the same version if I wasn't paying close enough attention.

On another topic entirely, I've been contemplating a few possibilities for same-actor match-ups. Luke Skywalker telling the Joker "I am your father" is just the weirdest; another I've mentioned before was put Doctor Who (the Tenth Doctor) against the Purple Man. I think others have mentioned Deadpool and Green Lantern, Batman vs. the Vulture, and Indiana Jones with Han Solo. Sherlock Holmes with Iron Man and/or Doctor Strange would have some value as well, as might the Thing versus the Exterminator (from Gotham).

But weirdest bit to cross my mind in recent days: "Snake" Plissken in "Escape from Ego, the Living Planet!" Potentially, he could even be joined by Dexter Riley, R. J. MacReady, Jack Burton, Jack O'Neil, Steve Stronghold (from Sky High), and maybe even Elvis Presley.

On a less complex note, I figure Issue #2900 should be up and about by the third day of spring (circa Mar. 21, 2020)!

@Bob Greenwade: What about Darkman and Brian Mills vs. a Lazarized Henri Ducard?

@Bob Greenwade: Or the Tenth Doctor and Scrooge McDuck? :)

@Cary: We could get Darkman vs. Ra's al Ghul. That would be interesting!

I'm "Taken" with the idea. How about you, Ross? ;-)

I propose Banshee, Siryn, and Shamrock vs The Leprechaun! For St. Patty's day!

Or, better yet, the Leprechaunvs. Pumpkinhead!

@Carycomic: Wouldn't that be a Celebrity Undeath Match?
