There is no way producers will do it. They did not do it for Avengers nor any other film (i.e. Captain America as part of chorus girl show). I wish they would go for the Christopher Reeve Superman model with a young actor and star supporting cast but I doubt they will.
Glenn's right. Hollywood will change _anything_ that they think doesn't guarantee a box-office success. Classic case in point? "Gone To Texas" by Forrrest Carter was retitled "Outlaw Josey Wales" for the screenplay.
P.S.---my guess, re: the titular question? It's Angel (being "impersonated" by Zauriel).
Those skis make it hard for me to take this particular embodiment of Death all that seriously :p
I'd love to see the X-Men attempt to recruit Speed Racer's mysterious brother Racer X.
The only way Hollyweird would the introductions in order would be as a "documentary" prologue like the one at the start of "Watchmen". After First Class, there's no way there is going to be an X-Men movie without Storm or Wolverine or both.
And the bad guy on the original image was Banshee?

My guess is Jean (Marvel Girl) Grey; she does not know that the Phoenix Force dwells in her yet, but the Racer does.
Or, perhaps, he senses Scott Summers is a blood relative of the greatest vampire slayer in history.
Great cover again, Ross. Once more you made me for a slip second think about racing out to go looking for a "non-existant" must have. I agree about Marvel's take on the X-Men; make it their own, not just one more in the line of what's already out there (though I will always this of Sir Patrick and Mr. Jackman as the definitive Prof. X & Wolverine).
PS. I know it's late to suggest it, but ever think of doing an all "skull-theme" issue for Diade los Muertos? Unless you already have and I just missed it.
