Not bad, Ross. The only way you _might_ be able to top this? Having a time-traveling JH meeting...Judge Dredd!
I really dug the Palmiotti/Gray Jonah Hex series from a few years ago (and the subsequent All-Star Western one). Wish DC would bring that back; those guys really nailed his voice and character.
Jonah's stint in the future is something I don't remember seeing addressed on this blog, Ross, and I think Cary's come up with the perfect team-up for him. Cable or The Doctor might also work, as could any Star Trek or Star Wars persons, but Dredd is someone who would make a great story with Hex.
As you know, Jonah's also made a couple of appearances on DC's Legends of Tomorrow -- one episode in each of the first two seasons, though they skipped the third. I know that fans -- myself among them -- have been eager to see him board the Waverider and have an adventure basically Easter-egging that time in the comic-book version's life. I also think that, given the "magical creatures on the loose throughout history" theme of the current fourth season, it might be interesting to see him dealing with some threat like that in his own Old West setting -- such as, say, a leprechaun.
Re: Bob Greenwade's suggestion: Or maybe Jonah and the Legends have to deal with a were-coyote, who has enthralled the local Indians who think it is their trickster god. Or on Earth-STF, Jonah meets Steve Englehart's Coyote!
Aw, heck, why not just make it the actual trickster god who has to be sent back to Hell? That could make for an interesting quandry, especially for the deeply religious Zari.

Now, how about Poison Ivy meets/vs. The Swamp Thing? I haven't seen that combo here, and it seems like a natural (pun intended).
The problem with that, Richard, is that Poison Ivy and Swamp Thing are both DC characters. In fact, I think they probably have met more than once.

Which makes me suggest Roger Rabbit and Captain Carrot. But I'm not sure why.

In retrospect, now that Disney owns Marvel, Roger's reaction to booze would be generically referred to as "Hulking out."
