The Hulk Vs. Hawkman
I was disappointed to see Hawkman killed off on DC's Legends of Tomorrow so quickly, but I guess I should not have been so surprised given how little of him was discussed in the promotional materials. Still, the reincarnation aspect of the Hawks has been well established by now on the show, so they can always pluck another Carter Hall from the timeline eventually. Let's hope if Hawkman returns, it's with a redesigned helmet.

A good one. Time for a HAWKMAN team-up with NOVA.
I wasn't too surprised that they killed Hawkman so quickly in DCLoT. I wasn't all that disappointed either to tell the truth. I thought that having both him and Hawkgirl was rather redundant, and I think that the "Will they or won't they get together?" aspect would have gotten old quick. plus, as you point out, with the time travel aspect of the series, I doubt that we've seen the last of him. And that just begs the question: will we at some point see Hawkgirl meet an earlier incarnation of herself?
A better question might be: will this be a one-season wonder a la BIRDS OF PREY and THE FLASH (1990)? And from the lackluster crossover that served as the pilot film for this spin-off I'd have to say:
"OH, GOD, PLEASE, YES!"
