Metamorpho Vs. Thor in: "If I Had a Hammer!"
This is a follow up story to a tale I presented way back in an earlier MS Paint cover...
I am happy to see that Metamorpho is making a return to the DCU. The new anthology comic, Legends of Tomorrow will be featuring everybody's favorite freak of 1000 forms as well as stories starring Firestorm, The Metal Men and Sugar and Spike. Aaron Lopresti is writing and illustrating Rex's new adventures, and I really like how he tweaked his appearance to make it a bit more modern while still very much based on Ramona Fradon's original design.

This is the first I've heard if it. I'll be sure to check it out... though I really can't imagine anyone other than Sheldon Mayer doing justice to Sugar and Spike.

What's Metamorpho doing with the orb of Ra? This could've been one hell of a fight.
My favorite Silver Age appearance of Metamorpho was in the issue of the original BRAVE & THE BOLD that also guest-starred Plastic Man! The latter had somehow been brainwashed by a crooked millionairess named Ruby Ryder into working for her...starting with a frame-up of business rival Bruce Wayne.
During the big showdown, Plas brags (as he turns into a balloon to suck in a gaseous Metamorpho): "I'm the Man of a Thousand Shapes."
Rex replies (as he escapes in the form of a javelin-sized nail): "I'm the new improved model. One thousand and one!"
This story could become a trilogy, with Part 3 being titled "Hammer Time!" Though hopefully they'd be working together this time, possibly (given that this is the Orb of Ra we're talking about here) against some Goa'uld System Lord.
What I really like best about this cover is the dialogue. Rex and Thor each has his own distinctive speech style, and you've written it out quite well here.
I'm pretty sure I used Hammer Time on a Steel cover already... I try not to repeat tiltles, but it's getting tough as I approach 2000 covers (including B&B and MTIO)
Well, here's one I'm sure you've never done.
Kim Possible and the Impossibles.
RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRALLY-HO!
Yeah, now that you mention it, you did use "Hammer Time" with Steel, back in the MTIO days. (I would have assumed it was with Thor, but no title was given for STF #292 when they teamed up).
Ya know, though, I've always wanted to see Thor appear with the Warners from Animaniacs. That would give Dot the opportunity to say: "Hellooooooooo Norse!"
