The Flash and Quicksilver in "Fast Track to Hollywood!"

Quicksilver will be featured in not one but two upcoming movies.  It will be interesting to see the two competing versions of the character that directors Joss Whedon (Avengers: The Age of Ultron) and Bryan Singer (X-Men: Days of Future Past) put forth.  We haven't seen anything from Aaron-Taylor Johnson's version, but there have been a few photos released of the X-Men's Pietro... wearing a garish silver jacket.  I don't think Whedon has much to worry about.

Awesome!

I have to go back and see who won the match up in DC Versus Marvel/Marvel Versus DC. I remember Wally being de-powered in the Marvel Universe - no Speed Force - in JLA/Avengers - that was an awesome book!

I'm trying not to see too much ahead of Days of Future Past. I've not read the comic story, so I want to be able to enjoy it when it comes out. What a unique thing - dueling Quicksilvers and Scarlet Witches! My favorite line-up was Cap's Avengers. Cap, Hawkeye, Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch.

@AirDave: IIRC, DC took the Flash/Quicksilver, Aquaman/Sub-Mariner, and Robin/Jubilee battles, and Marvel the Thor/Captain Marvel, Elektra/Catwoman, and Silver Surfer/Green Lantern combats. Of the reader-chosen battles, Superman beat Hulk, Batman beat Captain America, Storm beat Wonder Woman, Spider-Man beat Superboy, and Wolverine beat Lobo. It might have been coincidence, but I noticed that in each case the readers chose a character who was appearing on a TV cartoon at the time.

The other Bob is correct. In DC vs. Marvel, the Flash beat Quicksilver hands-down -- Wally's speed was much greater than Pietro's.

And, Ross -- a very nice way to make a comment on a real-world situation through a comics story. Art of all sorts has a long history of that (such as Joseph Haydn's "Surprise Symphony" and "Farewell Symphony").

Next up, you can have something like Ambush Bug stealing Thor's helmet!

Now I want to see a Quicksilver/Kick-Ass team up. Kicksilver? Quick-Ass?

I had a funny idea for a team up that could only happen here, Ross. A crossover from the movies in comics is needed to see Jay and Silent Bob (or their comic book counterparts Bluntman and Chronic) with Cheech and Chong. Maybe Harold and Kumar could have a cameo.

Ha! That's an interesting one...

I really loved Quicksilver's reaction to seeing the Flash Museum in JLA/Avengers. More or less, "Hey, there's a museum dedicated to a speedster here! This place is awesome!"
