Catwoman and Hellcat

I'm not sure why there are so many cat-themed female characters in fiction, but there must be some underlying reason for such a common archetype. Maybe it is because cats are beautiful, graceful, mysterious and strong willed - all characteristics of a classic heroine or femme fatale.  At any rate, it's a concept that has given us a lot of cool characters, and these two are among my favorites.

Ha!
Awesome cover! I love the title - "Feline Groovy!

It would be kinda cool if Birds of Prey would add Hellcat and Black Cat as guest stars...That would be cool!

Its true. I can't think of a single "Dog"-themed superhero other than DC's Wild Dog back in early 1990s, and that only lasted 4 issues.

I think it's because dogs are so varied within the species, there is no quintessential "dog" look or characteristic (unlike say wolves and foxes), whereas cats have lesser variation so it's easier to create a character with the quintessential "cat" traits.

At least that's my theory.

PS: Forgot to mention, "Sweetie" is aptly named.

I agree -- Sweetie does seem aptly named.

Cool cover, too. I think it might be interesting to make this a team you occasionally revisit, like Captain America/Wonder Woman or Robo-Force.

Speaking of Robo-Force, are there any more covers with that awesome group coming up?

It's tough because it's a 6-way team up but you never know. Definitely some new teams on the way though...
