The Demon and The Legion of Monsters
There's something cool about certain demonic heroes from Marvel and DC because they can be used as protagonists or antagonists in any given story. Though they might be labeled heroes, their individual motivations and dispositions often put them at odds with more straight laced crimefighters. Put a few of them togeher in one story and the real fireworks begin. Will they save the day or just turn on each other? Either way, it's fun to read about!

cool but still needs living mummy or the zombie from marvel to be added also blue devil for xtra kick
Wow! This is a comic I'd love to see in print.
At one point I was hoping that maybe the Ghost Rider movies with Nicholas Cage might lead up to this, or maybe even The Defenders. But alas, that seems unlikely now. Del Toro would be the right guy to put it all together, though.
Maybe someone could talk to Sam Raimi about negotiating a Hercules character appearance without any legal conflicts with his franchise. Being a mythological character it must be public domain as long as it doesn't resemble his version. After all, we've already seen Black Widow, Ghost Rider, Iceman and Angel; and Darkstar was an original character. With Hercules, that's the Champions, no?
I know what you mean about demonic heroes straddling between the fence. One big example with that would be DC's Demon Knights. The only people you really have to worry about is Etrigan and Vandal Savage.
austin powers meets mojo also any plans for fathom evil ernie brother power prez or continuity heroes such as samuree armour ms mystic?
It would be great to see Neal Adams' Continuity Comics characters here. That was a strange sporadic comic book line back in the mid-1980s, boy! I brought one issue each of Ms. Mystic, Megalith and Zero Patrol, and then I never saw them on sale again until a year later!
Anyhoo, I think Neal Adam's Megalith and Superman would be a great matchup.
I confess that I never picked up a continuity comic,so I don't know much about their characters at all.
Hi Ross,
Can I tell you how surprised and pleased I was to see this? I did the original coloring of the Legion in this pic for my deviantart page and am honored you thought to include it in your great blog. Thanks for making my day!
Gregg
Thank you for the great coloring!
@Ross: actually, it was Werewolf-By-Night (nee Jack Russell) that was a "charter member" of the Legion of Monsters.
