At a time when all I knew where heroes from Marvel and DC comics, I was happy to find Hanna-Barbera's World of Super-Adventure with it's impressive line up of cartoon stars. Space Ghost and The Herculoids were my favorites, but I liked all of the features. Alex Toth certainly knew how to design a show!

I always liked the reprints of Dial H for Hero in Superbly Super Spectacular issues. This cover is a salute to my childhood with all the great Hanna-Barbera superhero and fantasy cartoons! Now to grab a bowl of cereal and enjoy this nostalgic goodness.
Maybe Young Samson could meet Underdog; they are both sponsored by General Mills, though they are from different studios.
I’ve seen Space Kidettes with Go-go Gophers in syndication; they’re also sponsored by General Mills.
Every superhero and sf/fantasy character I grew up watching between 1967 and 1977? Sockamagee! What fond memories these guys bring back. Like Dsnokc, I enjoyed having my breakfast in front of the TV on Saturday mornings. Although, not anything from Gen. Mills. It was Sugar Smacks with a glass of milk on the side...or nothing!
As for Robbie Reed? I first read reprints of his first two adventures in issues of Superboy, back before the LSH took it over (@ $0.25 plus sales tax!). Dialed-up superheroes? A mind-boggling concept, to me, at the time. In short; I thank you, Ross. Saturday morning cartoons might have gone the way of the dinosaur in the real word. But, in the hearts and minds of Baby Boomers like me, it will always be like Jurassic Park.
Brilliant idea. Brought a much-needed smile to my face. Thank you.
Wait, where are The Impossibles, The Galaxy Trio, and Frankenstein Jr.?
Gotta love this cover, takes me back to the simpler days of comics and Saturday morning cartoons. Thank you!
Frankie's helping the Galaxy Trio against the Borg. While the Impossibles are aiding Kim Possible.
Oh, the loss you all had not being older and seeing the original concepts in practice.. The unknown Space Ghost in an unknown shaped craft being the Batman of Outer Space!!! Wow! Jonny, Shazzan, Mightor, The Impossibles, the Lone Ranger (voiced by Michael Rye), and more when heroes were given the chance to shine. Robby has been brought back a couple times and i wish they find something that works wonders!! He's worth it!
Go to youtube and look for the original opening themes to each. Worth it too!!
As much as I like these heroes (as well as the others mentioned by Anon@8:31), I'd also like to see more of Hanna-Barbera's lineup of animal characters. What if Simon Williams made a movie with Snagglepuss? What if Grape Ape met King Kong? What if Yogi Bear snatched a "pic-a-nic" basket from Wolverine?
What if Captain Caveman met Pokémon?
Hanna-Barbera's World Of Super Adventure was my intro to the HB superheroes as well. So many great shows. I learned later why there were so few Young Samson episodes since Space Kiddettes was syndicated without it.
