The High Evolutionary seems like just the kind of villain that would be employed by The Empire. I can see them turning to him to help produce an army of soldiers to replace the Stormtroopers (perhaps with better aim). Let's hope a rag-tag team of rebels can upset his plans before they are fully in motion!

It's uncanny that you should pick the High Evolutionary as a new Star Wars baddie. I remember reading someplace how one of the toy companies was prepared to come out with a new line of SW figures post-ROTJ. With the chief bad guy being a mysterious geneticist named Atha Prime! But, I doubt even he would've had a device like the genetic accelerator.
As for those ragtag rebels? I hope two of them would include the skunk-like Zehethbran named Klyngunn...and his wolverine-like cousin Logunn.
Perhaps he's not really interested in helping the Empire, but rather he's intrigued by the numerous sapient races and their evolutionary potential. Additionally, he could also be interested in the Force and which species could effectively use it best.
Basically, he's only in it for the science.
H.H. HORSEFEATHERS sees no red mists to bother anyone with so let the games be Gunn!
Now that is one dynamically cool cover!
Yeah, I totally could see the High Evolutionary revamping the Fett clones into something formidable, perhaps each one forming a one-man Bad Batch. Then the Emperor could send a dozen or so of them out to take care of those non-clone Stormtroopers in a practice run of Order 66.
But, would they be able to stand up to non-Jedi Force users? Like, say, a Dathomirian good witch named Zatanna? Or a mysterious warrior called "The Bat-ukai"?
those revolving doors to multi universes have so much potential. Now, if they want to create another Earth type planet on the far sign of the sun they can try.
"Through the Infinity Gate...and beyond!"
The Empire wouldn't stand a chance against the pilot only known as "Nonoriri" and an explosive so potent that it can create a supermassive black hole that can wipe out most of the galaxy! Then there's a mysterious droid that looks almost indistinguishable from a human that can split planets and black holes in half!
(For those who don't know, I'm talking about Noriko Takaya, the protagonist of the anime miniseries Gunbuster and Nono a.k.a. Buster Machine No. 7 from the sequel miniseries Diebuster.)
