I saw this pairing discussed in a recent comments section and it inspired me. I remember seeing the Super-Turtle comics strips in the back of some of my old Silver Age titles. I'm not sure if the Turtle of Steel ever made it into regular continuity, though... I never did see him join with the Legion of Super Pets.

This terrific cover brought to mind a classic Jay Ward character "Super Chicken" who was featured on the "George Of The Jungle" Show.
It was reader/reviewer Castle Faber who suggested this team-up, Ross. @ STF #3955 (now at the bottom of page 1 for the rest of today). More power to him! :-)
Like bigjeffoh, I quickly thought of Super Chicken. It might be interesting to team that classic, if obscure, character with someone like Throg, Darkwing Duck, Batman, or (my choice because of its residence in Left Field) Etrigan. Or, add him to the list of heroes who must consume something to function: Popeye, Hourman, Elongated Man (or Elastic Lad), Roger Ramjet, et al.
How about temaing Super chicken with Animal man or Batfink or Touche' Turtle?

Nice! Mostly unrelated, but I thought of something the other day, probably due to the hype of Michael Keaton suiting up as Batman again... with the movies only being a year apart, could you imaging Keaton's Batman teaming up with the live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles of the 1990 movie? We've had team-ups in real life between Batman and the Ninja Turtles before, but never those two specific versions, even though the timing was so perfect. Probably won't happen, unless you could make it one of your photo covers... Just an idea!

If you want a bit more play... Super Chicken, Batfink and Spider-Ham.They could interact with anyone anywhere..., or so they would think.Then again, if they also had Marvel Bunny with them??
If Space Phantom impersonated Mockingbird and exposed Super-Turtle to green k, would he/she turn him into mocked turtle soup?
I think the Superturtle made the jump to maincontinuity during the new52 era. At least for one panel.
Will any double female characters inspire you in March? Feb. didn't seem to have any.
As a matter of fact the only females that were seen on a cover together belonged to the LOSH (Shady & Dawnstar) & the Imperial Guard females. In other words team mates.
I hope something along the line of the Legion ladies getting a month of solo adventures (maybe the odd dates or the even dates) to showcase their individual talents sometime here in 2023 is possible. Shanna (who had to share her cover with not 1 but 2 guys) could team up with Dawnstar for an interesting adventure in the Savage Land don't ya think?
I'd rather see Spidey team up with Webwitch from Avatar Press.
