I was laughing to see yesterday's comments lead to a conversation about Beta Ray Bill, knowing that he was scheduled to show up today. Hey, have you guys been peeking?

Well, he wasn't technically discussed. Just mentioned in passing, once. As for today's cover? It's so well done, I'm not even going to try and hypothesize a back story for it! I'm just going to admire it.
:-)
A back story? Easy. At certain times, the style was tell the main story (even if it's a two parter), and do a back up story showing a first meeting between BetaRay and one of the Metal Men. This gave the writer more range if they wanted humor or something they couldn't do in the main story.
A sudden thought...BetaRay Bill and Dream in a story. Does Dream know all the life forms that exist everywhere?
@Cary and Tobor: you want a hypothetical back story? How about this?
Mongultron (a technorganic fusion of Ultron and Mongul from an alternate 31st century) has reactivated Chemo in an attempt to overthrow...Camelot 3000!
P.S.---I'm not really a robot. I just don't like it when security mistakes me for one! ;-)
surely it would be Platinum who would say i’m not a Robot
Yeah; because only sentient beings can own Platinum cards!
But, don't call me "Shirley."
Chemo needs someone his own size to play with. But who? Godzilla? Galactus? One of the combining Autobot groups?
One day of not looking at STF and I miss this beauty. Great job, but hom many times can you be told that?!
Thanks! Never enough times!
@Bob Greenwade: how about Kang's robotic Growing Man, reverse-engineered by Tony Stark and remote-controlled via telepresence by Bill Foster?
