The MK/EM team returns! This is the eighth meeting of STF's greatest crimefighting team:
MK's desperate treatment for Ralph was conducted in STF #3169... Concern about Eclipso's lasting effect on Ralph arose in STF #3098, Ralph fell under Eclipso's influence in STF #2908, They faced an angry underworld in STF #2831, Psycho Pirate turned them against each other in STF #2732, Ralph came to the rescue in STF #2518, and they first started working together in STF #2169...

bein' in the big easy ain't easy for moon knight and elongated man. they ain't gettin' no respect...kinda' like rodney dangerfield....lol
If I didn't know better, I'd swear that big idol was the Red Rajah of Capistan. But, that would require someone holding the cursed ruby of the same name!
I sure hope it wasn't The Absorbing Man. :-|
A couple of days late, but what the heck -- it's a fun cover, Ross.
And I really like Cary's implied suggestion -- Eclipso and the Absorbing Man. I think that'd be an interesting adventure for the Strange Brothers (or maybe just Stephen with Metamorpho).
Voluminous Volstagg didst say: "Mayhap he could depict that on the 'Morrow.' "
I second Mr. Greenwade's suggestion...with one mild variation.
Hanna-Barbera's version of Godzilla protecting the Inferior 5 from Fin Fang Foom!
Since some of the attention was being given to the Big Easy, it inspired me a possibility. Now cursed, the boys are sent back to World War 2 and EASY CO. Talk about having total confusion all the way around. Especially at night..;-)
FELIX FAUST: These two will require more than one magic rite. T.O. Morrow, have you the objects needed?"
T.O. MORROW: "Not what I'm used to FAUST. A bag of bones, Trix lemon cereal(?), and the ten cat whiskers. You can't be serious?"
FAUST: It's what I needed you to give me, mixed with my spell’s other ingredients.
This is the curse you asked of me. They will find themselves before they existed as heroes."
And with that spell FELIX inadvertently sends them back to EASY CO.
Liked the idea. Not cover material but still a cool idea.
@3H: It could be advertised on the cover as a back-up story.
HHH & Cary: Aren't those all DC characters, though?
Even so, I could see this sort of situation arising should Agatha Harkness receive a bit of "help" from Ambush Bug or the Inferior 5.
Not if Easy Company were being temporarily commanded by Sgt. Fury.
@Cary & Bob: interesting notion! Maybe Sergeant Rock is MIA, for some reason, and our hapless anti-heroes have to find out where he disappeared to and why.
I'm guessing another one of the Grandmaster's cosmic chess games...with Despero as the opponent, this time!
