Starman Vs. Iron Man in: "Knight Terrors!"

This marks the third adventure between Starman and Iron Man - They joined Black Widow and Black Canary in STF #2491 and first appeared together in STF #2190... there's something I like about putting these two heroes together.  Maybe it's the juxtaposition of cosmic based abilities and science based weaponry... or maybe just because I think they look cool together.

Awesome cover!

Just a wild guess, Tony. But, it could be that Gargantus was hosting a techno-organic virus that's infected him via his cosmic rod.*

*I'm assuming the thought balloon refers to STF #2190.

I’ve often wondered how his armor could melt off without destroying his arm. Comic book physics, I guess.

And don’t get me started in power generation by transistors. :)

would the villain happen to be the Melter, whose weapon can melt metal, etc, without heat?

It's not unlikely that, somehow, the Cosmic Rod is somehow merely turning the armor liquid without actually melting it (as the above Anonymous poster describes).

It's fun to see where these two are in their careers; so far all three have shown Tony in his old gold-colored armor, meaning this is early in his career, and probably late-to-mid era for Ted since he was active during World War II. So, these are early-to-mid-1960s adventures.

Maybe some time in the future we can see a more modern Iron Man with a visibly old Starman. Or jump to their respective successors, Stargirl and Ironheart (since the former already has her own soon-to-return TV show, and the latter has one coming). Or even do both, in a two-part (or longer) adventure.

On another topic, with recent twists on a couple of other TV shows, a cover with the Jon Kent version of Superboy and Agatha Harkness would probably not go amiss. #AgathaAllAlong #JordanAllAlong

Yet another thought: A photo cover with Tom Holland and Tim Allen for the "Official Comic Adaptation" of Spider-Man: Home Improvement.

Would Tim Allen be a co-star or a special "Quest" star?

@Anon: Full co-star status, of course (though Tom would get lead billing). Of course there'd be cast listing for Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Jon Favreau, Marisa Tomei, Patricia Richardson, Richard Karn, William O'Leary, etc. (Also whoever would serve as Peter's "Avengers mentor" for the film; I'd lean toward Paul Bettany.)

I figure the plot would be something like Tim Taylor being contracted to build a base for the Young Avengers, and Peter gets to protect Tim from both Avengers foes (such as Helmut Zemo) and himself.

How about Tim Taylor having to be rescued from The Enchantress and her mind-controlled pawn...Capt. Zoom?

With both of them getting zapped by the phasers of the good ship Galaxy Quest?

@both anonymii: why not?
