Blue Beetle Vs. Dark Phoenix
Blue & Gold, a proposed buddy superhero movie starring Blue Beetle and Booster Gold was one of the many potential DC movies that was mentioned once and then never again. Marvel has buddy show Falcon and the Winter Soldier as well as a She-Hulk show with comedic elements coming up, so maybe the suits at Warner Brothers should reconsider the concept for an HBO Max ongoing series instead. Just as long as the heroes are presented as capable - Ted and Booster can still be funny while still being effective heroes.

I would get HBO Max if this was made a series or be first in line to buy a ticket. Shazam was comedic and was a big hit so they should reconsider.Love the cover.
Funny cover but I curmudgeonly hate Beetle and Booster going from capable heroes to idiot buffoons.
Another good title for this would've been "Blue & Grey: Civil Disturbance."
Jean's next line could be,," Ted, how well would you be able to satisfy me in bed?" TED,"-I-I-I-I"
JEAN,"Prove it."
MIchael might get a make over, including a new name and revised origin.
Ted has been done as a very smart feature player giving support - like in Blue Beetle. Not much real action in a while.
DC/WB/AT&T might not believe the public could go for them. Where has live Booster been since his debut in SMALLVILE ?
@Tobor: trying to deposit himself at Fort Knox?
The tone of Blue and Grey could be identical to that of Legends of Tomorrow. Being (to borrow MHS' phrasing) competent heroes and idiot buffoons aren't necessarily mutually exclusive; Ray Palmer on the latter show was originally going to be Ted Kord.
For today's cover, I kind of like the idea of Jean's line being, "See anything you like?" In any event, Jean turning into Ted's "surprise date from both heaven and hell" would be comics gold -- I'd buy it in a heartbeat.
With that pose, Jean resembles one of the anti-heroines from the original Chaos! Comics.
Here's an idea for a new team heroes with a color in the name like White Tiger, Red Tornado, Green Hornet, ect. & you could call the team the Color Guard.
This might be my favorite cover so far!
Would it be dangerous to say Jean looks to be SMOKING HOT ?
Only if you say it to her face. In response to which, she might burn off yours!
Or mine...or anyone else's for that matter!
The real question is What brought Phoenix to TED?
. News at 11.
She was in a mood to talk? ;-)
"...This Ain't No Never Never Land...My Blood Run Cold My memory had just been sold..." - J Geils Band, "...Just A Magazine...I'll Wait Till Your Love Comes Down..." - VaN HaleN.
Dark Phoenix was no angel and Ted Kord was no Peter Pan.
Ugh. "Good" ol' Greg Land, and his horrible photo-tracing.
@Ken: better him than the artwork of Franks Robbins and Springers. They're work on Detective Comics, back in the Seventies, made even Batman look like the Scarecrow!
Definitely NOT a good thing.
DC needs to make a Booster/Beetle movie, and they need to do it QUICKLY - it's not like Nathan Fillion and Alan Tudyk are getting any younger.
At this point, Tiago, I think we have a better chance of seeing an Iron Man sequel starring Bruce Campbell in the title role.*
*Dead serious remark, btw.
Jean meet WandaVision. WIERD SCIENCES
Cover of the month!
@Anonymous: surpassed only by today's.*
*See way above.
She caught him in 4K. Wait, is that HER?
I can't talk right now
I'm lookin' and I like what I'm seein'
Got me feelin' kinda shocked right now
Couldn't stop right now
Even if I wanted, gotta get it, get it, get it, when it's hot right now
Oh my god, what is this?
Want you all in my business
Baby, I insist
Please don't blame me for what ever happens next
-Ain't My Fault by Zara Larsson
@Hyram H Horsefeathers She's sweet but psycho.
What happened to the door in the cover??
