Shining Knight and Valkyrie

When these two heroes first appeared together in STF #2568, Bob Greenwade (a patron of this blog) suggested that I revisit the pairing, but with the two their winged horse companions.   Well, here you go, Bob! I can't blame him for the request, one Pegasus makes for a majestic sight, why not two?  Well for one reason, two can be tough to fit on a single cover!  I was glad I found a way, though.

Boo-yah! Thanks for the effort, Ross. Aragorn does look more majestic here than Winged Victory, but they still make for an exciting visual.

Like I said before, one of the most exciting parts of watching Avengers: Endgame was when Valkyrie showed up astride Aragorn -- certainly a pleasant surprise! Then the horse actually got front-and-center use for part of the ensuing action. I can only hope for something similar with Winged Victory in a future season of Stargirl.

(I just looked through reports of what's happening in Season 2, and while Justin reportedly will be back and have his armor, there's no mention of the horse.)

Innkeeper! 2 pounds of your best Horsefeathers to go. 1 from each if you please. Nothing like a bit of variety. 8)

If you had them battle Terra-Man, you would get three winged steeds :)

Nice job with two steeds .... of course, of course.

Great cover as usual. Love these two together. How about the Authority vs the Avengers at some point. Would love to see Cap take on Midnighter and/or Thor take on Apollo. In any event, I’m sure you’d make it rock!

Enough with the horse wing puns already!

Where's Prince Valiant? It might be fun to see a "team" cover of all the Arthurian-based heroes and superheroes....

Way to go, Ross! More horsepower to you. :-)

just so you know; "A Wing" and "A Prayer" are the under studies for these two. Hired directly by the team of Mr Ed & Mr Terrific (sponsored by Power Pills - For that one incredible Hour of get up and GO!!)
