Kitty Pryde and Changeling

One of my favorite parts of X-Men and The New Teen Titans was the flirtation between Gar Logan and Kitty Pryde.  It's too bad that the planned sequel story never came to fruition, it would have been fun to see that thread followed up on.

Today's tale is only Part One of a Two-Part Story - so make sure you stop by tomorrow for the thrilling conclusion!

Why does the character in purple look like a relative to Lamont Cranston? You don't need an ACCESS point to see the story potentials there.

A pride of mutants walk into a crime scene and find themselves transported to the DC universe. How would they feel there?

Piotr is also known as Colossus.

I know what you mean, Ross. Even Jubilee and Tim Drake seemed to get at least two mass-marketed depictions of going steady!

And wouldn't Part 2 be just plain "Dynamite" if that purple silhouette did belong to The Shadow?

Nice cover...any change to see Gar as "Changeling" instead of that stupid "Beast Boy" name is great! :)

I loved the part where Starfire hears Piotr speaking Russian and right then decides to kiss him so that she can speak Russian too.

?? Why does Gar have to contend with Piotr if he's trying to rescue Kitty?? Where is that ray being shot from? Will the Colossus of NY be featured on part 2's cover?
What was the meaning of life before the pandemic? Will we get a new meaning now? How many anonymous can dance on the head of a vaccine needle?

@Ho-Ho-Horsefeathers: When the original DC/Marvel collaboration came out, Kitty had a "Colossal" crush on Comrade Rasputin (and vice-versa).

Knowing who that purple shadow is because I recognize that part of the cover is frustrating. Will that character make an appearing in part 2, or will this story go in a different direction?

@Nathan Elke: I think the Silver Age Doom Patrol writers gave it to him once his 30th century namesake from Lallor got killed off.

In fact, I often wonder if Beast Boy of Lallor was driven to become a super-villain by the ghost of Jungle King!
