Adam Strange and Doctor Strange in: "Drag Me Out Of Hell!"

Adam was left in Hell following the events of STF #3145, so who better than his mystical brother to try an bail him out?

This is the fifth appearance of The Strange Brothers.  They were last seen facing their wicked uncle in STF #2801, They were forced to do penance in STF #2649, before that, they were trying to escape from Limbo in STF #2146, and they were first revealed to be brothers in STF #370...

No worries. The third brother is well equipped to bail them both out. I'm talking, of course, of the Phantom STRANGEr...

You can't show Adam's daughter facing these things as well because she's still just a little Strange. Maybe joining Power Pack? (Or would their new Guardians, Power girl and Power Man let them? Find out in The Powers That Be)

Half a BIG cookie....YUM.

Maybe Jimmy yesterday was trying to get the brothers' story? or rescue them?

Dr Strange and Batman? After their three adventures would Batman let the Doc lead a future operation?

I still think that was Lonnie "Anarky" Machin posing as that Deathstalker-liker rip-off of the Phantom Stranger. Trying to trick them into permanently resigning as doers of good as part of their "penance."

And, today's cover seems more like a continuation of yesterday's. So, I'm thinking maybe Jimmy tried to use a variant of the Phantom Zone projector to try and rescue the Strange Brothers (as a part two to STF #3145). Making today's cover-sim the climax of a trilogy!

Yeah, I too was thinking that yesterday's story could tie in well to this one. One way or another, Jimmy could be a key to getting the Strange Brothers out of this jam.

After these mostly mystical adventures (their dealings with Uncle Hugo aside), I think it's high time the brothers landed somewhere like Coruscant or Cybertron, or even the Planet of the Apes.

And on a similar note, just imagine: Mars Attacks Endor!

@Ross & Bob: I second that last motion. :-)

Clearly the ultimate rescue of them both should involve Alanna, Clea and another pair of STF siblings: the Danvers Sisters!

Kara Danvers would certainly know how to modify a Phantom Zone projector better than Jimmy! ;-)

this cover is very cool, Ross, however i had another idea to propose to you.... as a big fan of your live-action covers my suggestion for one would be an all Ben Affleck one with Superman from the movie Hollywoodland and Batman from the Justice League meeting Daredevil from Daredevil.....
what thinks you oh master of the mash-up????
maybe for Ben's birthday????

BTW, (fingers crossed), could George Jetson parody(?) George Carson (who was probably mentioned in Icelandic volcanic ash cloud jokes in 2010) and the late real-world comedian Johnny Carson share a cover?

Not to mention Cave Carson and his brother Tech "Zip Jet" Carson.

@Last Two Anons: What, no Kit Carson?

He's on Earth-Panini with Action Jackson.

@Bob Greenwade: ...or Carson Napier?

Or Flynn Carson (The Librarian)!
