ROM Vs. Worf

It looks as though ROM's recent encounter with Captain Kirk was not the end of his adventures with The Federation.  Michael Dorn is famous for his portrayal of Worf, but these days his voice action work comes readily to mind as well.  I've been hearing his signature voice on cartoons for decades now, including lots of comic characters like Gorgon, Steel, Kalibak, Atrocitus, Kraven, Ronan and Bane. He is always a welcome addition.

Let's not forget his voice work for Disney's GARGOYLES, where he played Coldstone the Cybor-goyle and Taurus of New Atlantis.

That being said, I have to wonder if the Dire Wraiths and the matriarch of the Dominion are manipulating this battle royal behind the scenes.

Only three comments, so far?! Your usual readers must be too busy with their last-minute Xmas shopping.

I'd forgotten about the ROM and Kirk cover, but seeing the ROM and Worf cover led me, similarly to @Carycomic, to imagine a connection between Dire Wraiths and DS9's Changelings. Maybe even that, rather than their being in cahoots, they were instead a single species in some manner. Wouldn't it be wild for Odo to discover he could do Wraith stuff?

Thanks for agreeing with me, Slarti.

But, at the risk of being a downer, I feel obliged to report what I just read on-line. Jeremy Bulloch, the original Boba Fett from TESB and ROTJ (as well as Q's assistant, Smithers, in OCTOPUSSY) has just passed away from Parkinson's Disease. He was only 75.

RIP, Mr. B. :-(

"Maybe you should talk to Worf again."

Ah, Michael Dorn... besides the above, he also was the voice of Lord Nebula in the sadly short-lived Captain Simian and the Space Monkeys.

As for this cover, I'd bet that the story inside has this very moment, followed by ROM's revelation that it wasn't actually Worf that he shot, but a Dire Wraith.

Say, while he's in this general time period, maybe he could also have a moment with Seven of Nine.

Nah! She does it, too mechanically.

This prompted me to do a search on another toy property Marvel did, the Micronauts. It doesn't look like you've ever done a cover with the Micronauts

What Capt. Arcturus Rann might say at the end of a "Micronauts' Xmas Special."

"Merry Xmas and Happy Acro-Year!"

@Anonymous: Listen to all that googling. ;-D
