7 Soldiers of Victory and Doctor Strange

It will be interesting to see in the Seven Soldiers of Victory will get a mention in the upcoming Stargirl series.  After all, that was Stripesy's team - he was never really a member of the Justice Society along with The Star Spangled Kid, if memory serves.  It may be a bit of a deep dive, but I've seen more obscure references on the CW.

Since the JSA was not referred to until the end of a season, the SSV probably won't be any better off. Nor the Superman, Wonder Woman or Batman mentions that we would love to see ever be done. Maybe they could bring in a cameo from the Iron Giant. Wonder what movies and tv shows they'll reference for being on a parallel Earth?

How about The Nite Owls: Nightwing, Nighthawk, Nightcrawler, Nightshade and Nightingale (Astro City). That would be quite a nite life.

As I no longer have even "CW On Demand" in my service area, I just plain don't care.

At first glance it totally looks like the Shining Knight is running forward with a six-shooter. :)

I could be wrong, I doubt we'll get anything more than a name-drop of the 7SV, if that. Unlike the Arrowverse shows, the DC Universe shows (of which Stargirl is one, despite airing on CW) are being kept as separate universes, and not particularly expansive. I'm among the fans (strictly speaking, in my case, potential fans) who wish they'd all connect together, but for some reason they've decided to keep them all separate. I'd be surprised if we even hear the name Ted Knight, unless it's a deep-cut in-joke involving The Mary Tyler Moore Show.

Interestingly, I was just thinking of the 7SV last night, and appreciating #1852 -- the delightful cover with Snow White that was my first acted-upon suggestion. It just occurred to me as I was drifting off to see if they'd ever teamed up with Captain America here. He's been along twice as a member of the Avengers and (more recently) the Invaders, but never on his own. I think that would be a great team-up to mark the anniversary of a historic day from WWII, or possibly 9/11.

@Anon: You can't even get to CW Seed?

I like how the SSV members images are "slightly off" implying they are from different dimension.

Given that they've already referenced the Star Spangled Kid as being Starman, I'd be willing to bet the JSA on Stargirl's Earth is a recent phenomenon. However, I wouldn't be surprised if there had been a now-retired Team Arrow with the rest of the SSV in place of Canary, Mr. T, Wild Dog etc. Starman being the only one with powers and the youngest, was the only one who stayed active and help formed the JSA. They can get Amell or Haynes to do a guest star flash back during sweeps week or while the crossover is going on in the Arrowverse.

And I would expect to see Ted Knight as the creator of the Cosmic Rod, but in a Gsrber/Stein or Douglas/Pym old mad scientist role.

@Anon@8:47/5:52: Maybe you need a new Internet provider, if they're blocking that.

@BG: when that provider has a local monopoly, one's got no legit choice in the matter.
