Spider-Man and The Suicide Squad

I am interested to see what James Gunn has in store for The Suicide Squad.  The large cast consisting of lots of C and D-list DC villains indicates to me that there's going to be a high mortality rate, yet comments from the actors point to a more comedic take than the David Ayer film. Set photos also show that Gunn will not be shying away from giving colorful costumes to the characters.  I just hope that Amanda Waller is given better material this time around.

Venom vs. Dreadface.

That'd be a perfect sequel to this cover. :-)

Harley might be annoyed if she were ignored. As long as the Spider-sense is working, everything would be different than the characters are used to.

Fun cover Ross.

I'd love to read this issue. At least, Spidey would have an ally in Katana.

Nice concept!

I'd love to see Spidey take on the female Tarantula of Bludhaven, next.

In what sense of "take on"?

@Simreeve: Trying to bring her in for her Punisher-style vigilantism (after her arrival in New York City) without succumbing to her voluptuous Latina wiles...like Nightwing did.

OK, Ross, when are you gonna do The cover of the year: An Aunt May Con?
All those different aged May Parkers surrounding Alfred (like a cover from Zero Hour)
and Ben Parker (that survived).

This is a great cover! Also I am really looking forward to the new Suicide Squad movie, and with Gunn directing it I have high hopes. I am a little doubtful of some of the villains being chosen for the team, but I hope Gunn makes it work.

@Horsefeathers: like the Golden Age Tarantula meets Spider-Ma'am?
