Doom Patrol with Dark Phoenix? Oh, no! They're, well, doomed!
Since they just announced season 3 of Titans on DC Universe I don't think the rumors are true.
Splitting up things like that is one good way to lose my viewership. Here I was, all set to subscribe to DC Universe early next year, and now I learn that Doom Patrol is moving to another network that I'd have to pay for separately. I don't need that kind of frustration. Unless MBO Max is something like $3 a month, I'll be taking a hard pass on both services.

Doom Patrol Season two will appear simultaneously on DC Universe and streamer HBO Max, which debuts in May 2020. According to Variety, regular HBO subscribers will receive HBO Max for free.
If the Famke Jannsen version of Phoenix ever went up against the Ryan Reynolds version of GL Hal Jordan, that would surely be a sign of the Apocalypse.
@Bob: I haven't heard anything different lately, but the first reports about HBO Max had the Doom Patrol being offered on BOTH platforms (DCU and HBOM). It's going to be a test-run to see how feasible (technically, marketing, customer servicing, etc.) sharing between the 2 platforms are, along with how (lower budget) non-HBO-produced original series material flies on a HBO platform. The results probably will affect the long-term prospects of DCU.
There's lots of ways DCU could go, from being completely folded in to HBOM at HBOM's price, left separate or being offered as an add-on tier to HBOM, moving the videos to HBOM and leaving DCU with the comics and community at a lower price or free, etc.
Its too early to tell what the new guy at Warner is going to do (or how long he'll last) as they try to fold in the clusterf**k that AT&T has become, but early news made it seem like he wants HBO MAX to be the one-stop center for all Warner material.
The next couple of years are going to be (Arte Johnson voice) Verry Interesting in the streaming market.

If memory serves, this image of Dark Phoenix isn't actually Jean Grey but actually a young Kitty Pryde disguised as Dark Phoenix....
@Sonofjack: Now that you mention it, you're right! I didn't recognize it right away, but in the story that had this figure on the cover, Jean was "dead," but Kitty (who was still trying to figure out an individualistic costume) had used a clothing fabricator to make herself look the part in order to scare some space-baddies and create a distraction. And speaking of "figure," that's a hint that was commented on by at least one letter writer two issues later!
Cyclops and Beast Boy could be interesting.
