I always got a kick out of Quicksilver's attitude. It was a nice contrast to the usual nice guy hero to have someone who, while still a good guy, could be kind of snotty at times. I did wonder what Crystal of the Inhumans ever saw in him, though! I quite liked the eventual explanation that the world seemed to move in slow motion to him, so he is always feeling impatient. That made sense to me and also made him a little more of a sympathetic character, rather than just a jerk.

I always liked Jessie Quick especially in the JSA. Does this mean in this universe she is not married to Hourman?
"This story took place before the wedding - Ed"
Love that title!!!!!!!!
If Jesse Quick's stories are good, she might not need a costume as hot as Tangent Comic's version of The Flash.
I'll take the opportunity of a cover with surprisingly few comments to suggest Johnny Thunder and his Thunderbolt vs. Kurt Busiek's Thunderbolts.
Also, +1 to Cary's comment. A great title today.
I never bought that explanation for Pietro's "impatience." The world seems to move in slow motion... compared to what? If the world's always seemed slow, a person would be used to it, and likely be more patient than his peers (kind of like DC's speedsters), in the same way that real-world people tend to be more accommodating when the world always seems large or small. The ones who aren't generally have some other issue going on, and are just using the problem as an excuse. For Pietro, my leading suspect is "daddy issues."
And another ditto to Cary's comment.
Who would Quicksilver find more attractive -Jessie Quick or Zantanna, being like his sister? Did Magneto meet Dr Polaris? If so, mutual attraction or repulsion?
I always liked Peter David's X-Factor issue where Pietro explains why he's always suffering from what his teammates called "PMS"- Pietro Maximoff Syndrome. I never thought much of the character before that run (no pun intended) but that issue made me appreciate him more.
@Anon+1: I can just imagine Quicksilver telling a mischievous Zatanna...
"You got to change your evil ways, baby!"
I bought the explanation because as a mutant, he grew up completely normal, until age 13-16 or so, then gained his speed powers.. at which point he began to feel like everyone else he interacted with were a bunch of slow idiots who can't work the cash machines while standing in line at the bank.
I'm sure after ten years of that anyone would become unpleasant.
