I was just now watching the Iron Giant. What are the odds? On the topic of Kong, maybe he'll spontaneously develop electrical powers like in their original fight.

My first comment was going to be speculation that Kong might grow super-giant-size after having an allergic reaction to Ebirah with radioactively melted butter. But, I decided the 2nd one would be funnier.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of a character that I don't believe you have ever featured on this blog: Felix the Cat.
He was the first cartoon star. Walt Disney basically ripped off the character's look with Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Mickey Mouse.
Maybe you could do a cover with Felix confronting Mickey Mouse.
Maybe with Walter Lantz's version of Oswald the Rabbit refereeing! :-)

+1 for Felix. The trickiest bit would be choosing a match. There are so many options. Like people have commented on the Phantom Stranger, most heroes or villains could be matched with Felix.
