Guardians of the Galaxy and Captain Kirk

I loved when the Original Guardians of the Galaxy showed up in the second movie in the franchise, and I hope we will get to see more of them in the future.  The third film already sounds pretty full, but it would be nice to see them show up again - this time in action and not just a cameo.  It's probably a long shot, but I can hope!

Since S.T. works so well with parallel universes, this story could easily happen.

I remember when the original Guardians first came out and how odd they looked by comparison to the Avengers & the X- Men. Nice to see the people in research for properties for movie companies can still find buried treasures. I can't wait to see what they do with the Impossible Man (maybe for Deadpool?).)

If there is a GOTG Four, I hope the antagonists are the Badoon. If only in partial homage to the original team's comic book setting!

Think Trelane, a Q-like alien will have a continued story in the Star Trek continuity (unlike the non-canon "Q-squared")?

As Capt. Pike's first mate might have said:

"One can only hope."

It would definitely be great if the "OG Guardians" showed up for a little action in GotGv3 or v4. For v3, a cameo early in the film could set up a last-minute rescue in the final battle. If nothing else, it'd be great to see Sylvester Stallone in some legit sci-fi/superhero action (as opposed to his unfortunate turn as Judge Dredd).

Great cover, Ross. Thank you for creating it, as ever.

Nothing to do with this cover...how about the Hanged Man (Astro City) and the JSA?

Maybe Scooby Apocalypse and The Jetsons (2017).

@Bob Greenwade: I finally saw the remake of JD on DVD. Stallone's version, at its worst, was still ten times better.
