Swamp Thing and Wolverine
There have been a lot of great artistic interpretations of Wolverine over the years, but for me three rise to the top. John Byrne's depiction as a member of the X-Men, Frank Miller's introduction of Logan as a solo character, and Barry Windsor-Smith's amazingly intricate artwork on the serialized Weapon X storyline in Marvel Comics Presents. Seeing a story previously told only in one or two-panel flashback sequences fleshed out so beautifully made a real impression one me.

I have to admit that I've never been onboard the Wolverine bandwagon. Not that he isn't a cool character...just over-exposed.
When the first Swamp Thing film came out, I really got into the old Bernie Wrightson issues. I stuck with the character for awhile. I saw the Swamp Thing complete series available on DVD awhile back. I'd never seen a complete episode. Was there really a Swamp Thing cartoon?
Awesome cover for Swamp Thing star Adrienne Barbeau's birthday today!
There was really a Swamp Thing cartoon. Do yourself a favor and put it on the Do Not Watch along with the Man-Thing movie...
Seeing as the Silver Age Swamp Thing was set in Houma, Louisiana, I can see Wolverine looking to rescue an abducted Gambit from Arcane's clutches.
Arcane? I would have that Sunderland would have been a better fit!
