Wonder Woman and Sif
The Thor movies have been a mixed bag for me. I have liked the Asgard and action scenes, but the hit and miss humor and unnecessary side characters have hindered my enjoyment of both films. One character that I would like to see more of is Sif. I really enjoyed Jaimie Alexander's portrayal in both movies and would not mind seeing her receiving a larger role in future sequels, even replacing Jane Foster as Thor's love interest.

It's because when Stan Lee introduced the character we the readers didn't know better about Asgard, is like when you go overseas and find someone interesting when you have someone back at home.
Her appeaarance on Agents of SHIELD was great too, showing her off better than the movies did.
I agree, Jane in the comics was kind of a nonentity and seemed to be there largely because a hero has to have a girlfriend. Sif, when she was introduced, was a much more interesting character. I thought she was more interesting in the movies too.
Maybe she can get married off to Bill Foster in ANT MAN 2.
I mean Jane, of course. Not Sif.

This is what TV Tropes called a Fan Prefer Couple
http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/FanPreferredCouple
Often times these couples make no story sense, and it seems likely that the fans (usually a teenage girl) is mere pairing up the character the fan most identifies with the one they want to date.
However, there are a few times when the fans are probably correct. In that case, usually the love interest doesn't have much characterization beyond love interest.
I bet you had to "Sif" through a lot of images to find the right one for this, Ross.... ;)
GOOD ONE, BG!!! :-D
Great one with this also! :)
