Iron Man joins the Green Lantern Corps

It is going to be interesting to see where Iron Man goes in the Marvel cinematic universe.  He looks to be positioned for a fall, with Ultron coming about as a result of his technology.  The upcoming Avengers sequel is rumored to end with a disjointed team, and them Tony Stark will next be seen in Captain America: Civil War - in which he will supposedly be the primary antagonist.  Thus all sounds interesting and will give Robert Downey Jr. plenty of cool scenes to perform.  I just hope that the heroic side of Iron Man still comes through in the end.

Awww, yeah! One of my favorite Amalgam Comics titles was Iron Lantern!

I hope that Tony Stark comes out a better hero after Avengers 2 and Captain America 3...

Thanks, Air Dave! I was afraid I was going to prove the only one who'd read that issue.

Soon you'll need to bring Access in to get Emerald Avenger teaming up with Iron Beetle... unless, of course, you want to add more recolored heroes to the mix. (Maybe redo Starfire in Captain America's colors, to make American Fire? Or Ms. Marvel in the colors of the original Mr. Terrific, to become Ms. Terrific?)

reminds me of the Amalgam Comics story... The Iron Lantern.

I would've liked Iron Lantern better if it hadn't ended on a cliffhanger. You just don't do that in a book that you know is only going to be a one-shot.

This is DC we're talking about, BB. The ones who published the limited series increasingly misnamed "Final Crisis!"

You should see the Iron Lantern designs that I and Bokuman did. It's over at my blog.
