Christmas With The Super-Heroes 2014
The cover with far and away the most page views on this blog is STF #57, in which Spider-Man is rejected for Justice League membership. I'm not sure why that particular cover gained such a life of its own, but I felt it was high time the Leaguers let poor Peter Parker into their team.
It's been another great year for STF: The Lost Issues. The readership has grown and I've been honored to have made appearances on Compton After Dark and the Clobberin' Time Podcast as well as receiving a mention in the great Back Issue magazine. I would like to take this time to say thank you to everyone who has paid a visit to this blog over the past year. I truly appreciate the support from folks who regularly visit here and especially those who take the time to comment and let me know how they feel about my covers. Thanks for the cool suggestions as well! A special thank you goes to the folks who have shown their support by making a one-time contribution or becoming a patron of the blog. Every little bit helps, and your continued support makes a big difference!
Merry Christmas and happy holidays! May today be spent in the company of the ones you love! Coming soon: The STF 1000th Issue Spectacular!

So I wanted to say Thank You, Merry Chrıstmas and Happy Holıdays from a loyal fan. You don't know how ımportant your blog ıs to me, rıght now! Best Wıshes.
Merry Christmas. Love the covers. Your one-time donation button may be broken.
Merry Christmas! I am so pleased to be a patron of your work. It's so well-executed. I only wish this was a world where I could read these stories!
Merry Christmas, Ross! Keep up the great work.
Worldmusic: from one former Brooklynite to another (I lived in Park Slope/Prospect heights for 20 years), thank you!
Bill: Thanks! The link seems to be working for me - at any rate it takes yo to the same place that clicking on the "donate" button will.
Greg: Your support is truly appreciated, thanks!
Anonymous - Merry Christmas to you as well!
Ross, Merry Christmas and thanks for another brilliant year of covers. I collect them all and look forward to the next year's worth.
But I know each one takes you about 4 hours to do, so I do appreciate all your hard work.
Thanks, John - Knowing that fellow fans dig the blog makes it worth it!
If there is an upside to the Sony hacking, it may be that Marvel/Disney regains Spider-Man. It looks like he may have a cameo in Captain America 3!
Merry Christmas, Ross. Thanks for the daily Christmas presents!
Happy Holidays to you, Dave!
@Ross: Thanks for being our Santa every day of the year. Enjoy the holidays. I'm re-reading Paul Dini's Jingle Belle and looking forward to Dr. Who tonight, but the day wouldn't be complete without checking in with STF. Merry Christmas folks!
Belated Merry Xmas, Ross! And, yes, I also think Spidey would make a better Justice Leaguer than an Avenger. If only because he could then use his webbing to patch up runs in Zatanna's fishnet stockings (lol)!!
Btw: was that the still-controversial, Emma Peel version of Wonder Woman giving Spidey the thumbs-down @ STF:JLA #57?
Yup, that was her!
Merry Christmas, Pblfsda ans Anonymous!
Thanks. Although, I'm unfamiliar with your postscripted salutation. Is that French or Greek?
Just the name of the commenter before you... and I typed ans instead of and...
Isn't that one Xmas ornament from one of Alex Ross' painting?
@Anon912: indeed, it is. :-)
