The Avengers and Manhunter
Now that the actors portraying the big 3 Avengers are nearing the end of their movie contracts, I am sure Marvel must be considering where to go next. Do they give Thor, Iron man and Cap a rest while giving some of their other heroes a chance on the big screen, or will they continue to make sequels? If it's the latter, will other actors step into the roles, or will they swap out the characters, focusing on Bucky as Cap or Rhodey as Iron Man? One thing is for sure, Marvel is on a roll and shows no sign of slowing down any time soon.

Mainly off the topic of the current cover (which quite well done, I must say), I offer this.
Last night I was walking out of a department store, and saw two Lego sets side by side: TMNT and GOTG. I immediately thought of you, Ross, and how cool of a STF cover that would make.
Another expertly merged tableau, here. Sadly, this does nothing to prevent me from still thinking the Manhunter looks like an anime cosplayer. (Seriously, are those Chinese lanterns he's wearing on his legs?) I wish DC had stuck to that mutated version of Lee Falk's The Phantom that Jack Kirby came up with, but no... they needed a knock-off of the Sentinels to throw the JLA at.
Kirk was tough enough that he could get away with that look!
TMNT and GoG? Crazy, but maybe in a good way!
Manhunter's costume design should never have worked ... yet oddly, it served the character quite well. (That original run of his was really excellent.)
...or the GotG and the GotU. (Rocket vs. Ch'p?)
They could always introduce Quicksilver and the Scarlet Witch in the next Avengers sequel. It would not only be a great way to tie the movie franchise in with the X-men films. It would also be a nice homage to Cap's Kooky Silver Age Quartet!
