Actually, I think such a team-up would work! I remember a Silver Age B&B team-up, where Hawkgirl was magically turned into a literal harpy. So, that could be used for the plot device for a meeting between these two characters. Assuming, of course, DC and Marvel could avoid letting artistic differences get in the way for 20 years (the way it did with the long-awaited JLA/Avengers crossover).
