You're right -- the public side of both of these heroes would make for a very interesting story.
It's a shame we'll probably never see Dazzler teaming Sapphire (from the Champions RPG). They're both singers, so they could work together on a duet -- and just to make things interesting, some evil pair of twins from the DCU is waiting in the wings to spoil things.
