This has lots of potential for gratuitous, insanely dark comedy. Yes, it would be a fantastic read, and I'd certainly buy this issue.
(Artistically, I don't think the effect of Marvin standing on the other Martian's head even comes close to working, though the matching pointing gesture makes a good synchronicity for the moment you have in mind.)
I could see this being repelled by John Carter and the Martian Manhunter (a pairing that has happened here, but yearns to be revisited).
