The Emerald Elite

I've had a few request for a color-themed team, and I felt that green was the best way to go.  There are a lot of green-skinned heroes out there, and I think the reason for that probably comes down to aesthetics - they just looks so cool!  At any rate, I'd love to see how the above group of heroes would interact with one another, given their varied personalities.  They certainly would not be lacking in power, that's for sure.

There's a combination I never expected. Did they form on Green Day?

That's actually Kurr Dragon's evil Self

That's the Earth-STF Dragon so it all makes sense.

I can see why you went with green on this one; it's the most common "alternate" skin color out there. I personally have a thing for blue, but the only good ones I can think of are two at DC (Shadow Lass and Dr. Manhattan), and two at Marvel (Nocturne and Beast).

Hey, how about a team of heroes who are made of organic metal? Steel had that for a while, and you could toss in Colossus and Ironclad... I'm not sure who else there is, but there are probably at least a couple.

@ Bob Greenwade- You forgot Ferro Lad from the Legion of Super Heroes, the granddaddy of them all. That sounds like a good idea Ross.

No Hulk, Beast Boy or Kermit??? KIDDING!!! :)

Another great cover, Ross. I love the way you can make the images so seamless.

Oh, yes, Isaac! How the heck could I forget Ferro Lad? Put him in with the Metal Warriors instead of Steel. The biggest challenge, of course, would be filling out the team to five using non-DC/Marvel heroes; shortly behind it would be finding a picture of Ironclad (a Champions RPG hero) that would fit with the rest of them.

I thought you were talking about Ironclad from the U-Foes.

The U-Foes weren't even on my radar (so to speak) before you mentioned them just now.

@Anonymous - Hey I forgot about Kermit & BB. The Hulk's kinda covered with Shulkie & Savage Dragon. I'm more partial to adding one of the Brainiacs myself.
