Green Lantern and The Vision

With both Ultron and The Scarlet Witch slated to play major roles in the upcoming Avengers sequel, I'd say that The Vision is a good bet for the third installment.  We have his creator and girlfriend in the movie, now all we would need need is Simon Williams!  Plus, we know that Ant-Man will be in the third film, so we can see a version of that famous moment where Hank Pym must go inside The Vision to make repairs.

Please let it be Paul Rudd as Hank! And NO domestic violence! Can you just imagine it: Paul Rudd, Mark Ruffalo and Robert Downey, Jr.! That would just be awesome!

I do have hopes that one day Green Lantern will return to greatness on the screen.

The film and animated series were disappointing to me. The film was way too "busy" and had too much going on. The animated series threw Hal across the universe. The basic concept that worked in the early comics was that he used the ring to fight crime until he discovered that he was part of a universe-spanning, universe-wide corps. THEN he went into space. There was also too much "Emerald Dawn" revision in it. Hal is DC's Matt Murdock - "Man With No Fear". Green Lantern had such potential to be Warner Bros./DC's Iron Man and launch Justice League...

Paul Rudd as Antman? That's not a bad idea.

Oh, and yeah, the Green Lantern film was way too dark and ugly, in my view. A floating skull that eats people? A villain so pathetic you spend the whole movie feeling bad for him? And the Guardians...yeesh.
Too bad it wasn't brighter, lighter, with more color and humor.

Great crossover! I see someone incorporating Manhunter tech into the Vision while he was being built. Who knows all that could have been thrown into the building of the Vision if we are going to include robotic donors thanks to crossovers. Hmm...Maybe Who would know. Doctor Who that is.

These were my two favorite comic book characters when I was a kid buying comics in 1981. But they both became either boring or interesting by the 1990s thanks to terrible editorial decisions.

@Anon734: The GL movie with Ryan Reynolds was undeniably superior to both of his Deadpool flicks, put together.
