Superman and Magnus: Robot Fighter
Nobody can draw a period piece like Steve Rude. His attention to detail and slick retro style really shine when he depicts a scene from yesteryear. I always like how he will give Superman these cool squinty Joe Shuster styled eyes. Rude is currently contributing to DC's Before Watchmen even with a one shot featuring Dollar Bill, written by Len Wein. I have no doubt that once again Rude will accurately and stylishly illustrate the fashions and designs of the time, and it should be a beautiful comic to look at.

Oh definitely. Love how he pretty much incorporates elements of the Max Fleischer cartoon Superman into his depictions of supes. I love that version of Superman and the costume, so loving the nod to that time period as well.
Damn good cover, and pretty good team-up concept as well. This would really be an interesting story in and of itself.
how bout joker vs luke skywalker in cantina band with joker saying i love this bar
I'd love to see these two go up against Hank "Cyborg-Superman" Henshaw.
