Metamorpho and Spider-Man

Metamorpho is nowhere to be seen in the New 52 DCU.  The closest we have seen is Element Woman, who looks to be involved with the Justice League at some point, so I had given up on seeing Rex mason anytime soon.  However, with yesterday's solicitations, there may be a glimmer of hope.  Katana #1 says that we will find the sword-wielding hero trying to "restore The Outsiders to their former glory".  Hmmm... so will we see the likes of Metamorpho, Halo and Geo-Force in the future?  We've already seen Black Lightning, but it's a youthified version who hangs with Blue Devil.  Who knows what the other Outsiders will be like when they make an appearance?

I especially like the Snoopy/Bone back-up feature (not half as Jeff Smith would, I'll bet). But as much as they have a physical resemblence I always thought that, functionally, the Bone/Phoney/Smiley trio worked more like the Mickey/Donald/Goofy trio in the "Walt Disney Comics and Stories" serials.

Special recognition for the smooth interaction between Java and Gwen.

We've also seen Looker as a vampire in National Comics- and in a 60s-inspired mini-dress in Batman Inc.

Yes, but maybe more like Pogo, Albert, Churchy?

Metamorpho made a cameo appearance in the New 52 in Justice League International #1.

In honor of this back-up feature, I nominate Hot Stuff and either Blue Devil or Etrigan.

Even I used to buy Richie Rich or Hot Stuff when there was absolutely nothing else on the rack worth reading at my local drugstore back in day,....and I never regretted the purchase.

I would read a Joe Cool/Bone story

Even better that Joe Cool/Bone would be Pogo/Bone. Make it happen Ross!

There's an upcoming cover I have a feeling you will like, Isaac...
