Sandman and James Bond

Big news hit this week as control of the James Bond franchise has been given to Amazon.  What will that mean for the future of Bond movies?  Amazon has made some great content, but also some real clunkers, so who knows? I just hope this doesn't lead to a James Bond Cinematic universe.  I like Miss Moneypenny and Q, but I don't need to see them get their own spinoffs.

As we used to say in the prehistoric Sixties? This team-up, as a real world comic, would be a total gas. :-)

What if the Flintstones lived in the 1960’s?

Ross, this was a coincidence for timing?? Incredible!! Now, how many Amazon branded items and services will be in the Bond movies & tv shows?? Bond WILL be a PRIME mover!! Calling Max Headroom, your future is coming up fast. Please stand by. And Ross, I love this cover. Very different art style.

They'd probably be called "The Peat Generation".

Yes, pure coincidence that this posting coincided with the news.

Horsefeathers, H. H. HORSEFEATHERS. Multi source lights on this cover. The deed to a large chicken farm was nestled in that security container. Signed by James Bond junior. Roll em!

I can just see Q giving James his gizmos for the mission, using dialogue vaguely suggesting that he bought it off Amazon... and it's entirely possible that, in one or two cases, he did.

For this cover, this is the team-up we never knew we needed. This would be a good story element to refer back to in any future covers featuring Bond with JSA members.

Amazon will reveal there has been a James Bond as long as there has been an England.

So, this is how 007 got the start-up money for the Bondsmen? From a retired (as-a-super-heroic-crime-fighter) Wesley Dodds? Interesting!

I guess that would make them...Bond-ed employees.

Sandman and Dream Girl meet Holly Hobbie.

Or, failing that, Comet the Super Horse meets the My Little Ponies.
