Superman and Giant-Man

The new Superman "S" shield has been officially revealed, and it is an interesting look.  It  evokes both the Kingdom Come symbol as well as Superman's very earliest symbols.  I think that is fitting as we will be seeing a Superman still early in his career who will be juxtaposing his crimefighting methods with those of a different set of heroes, as he did in KC.  I can't wait to see the full suit.

Always liked Bill Foster as Giant-Man. Nice pairing of these two.

I wonder what could make Superman feel that vindictive and cynical. Was Lois Lane somehow brainwashed into falling for Luthor?

I'd rather talk about Bill.

Laurence Fishburne did a nice job portraying Bill in Ant-Man & the Wasp, though like many folks I've really wanted to see him suit up as Goliath (though preferably not in armor evocative of the costume shown here). We did get to see it indirectly in "What If... Peter Quill Attacked Earth's Mightiest Heroes?," but a live-action appearance, even if only in a flashback with a digitally-youthened Fishburne, would've been welcome. Maybe in some future film.

Lois was in danger or in pain and with a crowd of people around her, everyone was using their phones for cameras and no one helped her as she suffered until she died.
That could drain Clark of wanting to help.

the Martian Manhunter gave him a pack of biscuits, and now he’s suffering from withdrawal symptoms…
a chemist like Bill should be able to find a cure…

Minor digression: did you guys know there was once a Golden Age Bill Foster with an Axis-busting robot named Mekano? His organic allies were (totally serious, here)...Tommy Clark and Sandra Kent!

So, getting back to the wild guesses: maybe Kal-El is bummed out about being outted by his fellow Newshounds and then replaced by...Turt-El!
