I expect that once Thanos comes face to face with Pinky and the Brain, he will rapidly admit defeat, NARF!
Another combination that I would never have thought of, but works really well.

If Thanos needs to get the powers of Toon Force, he’ll have to face Popeye at one point…

So soon after the Moon Rock Mob, you have brought in The Luna-tic Orbs?? Then the trail leads to a mental duel by moon lite of Thanos VS The Joker!!
If he's planning to put Stanley "The Mask" Ipkiss in that orb, he's definitely gonna have his purple butt turned black-and-blue.

@Carycomic: all too true. Yet, it's also true that, despite Thanos having 30 appearances (and Metamorpho, 47 appearances), there has yet to be one featuring...Thanos vs. Metamorpho!

Thanos just hasn't been the same since Pinky and the Brain tried to steal the Infinity Gauntlet.
I'd love to see the Warners choose Wilson Fisk as their "special friend" some time.
