I used to like how in Marvel Team-Up, Spider-Man would often be put off and unnerved by some of his more dark co-stars, like Ghost Rider. I think the opposite would be true with someone like Mary Marvel. Something tells me that Spidey would appreciate her wholesomeness and treat her like a super powered kid sister.

Another amazing cover! Agree with your assessment of how Peter would treat Mary.
@Harry: It might be a different story, however, if she were MaryJane Marvel! ;-)
@Ross: my compliments! I don't know anyone else who could make such practical use of one of the Croc-men from planet Punkus. I have to wonder if Mr. Mind was using him as an emissary to Curt Connors' alter-ego?
Mary Marvel should have her own Marching Society.
@Emsley: well played, sir!
:-D
Having the webs will give Petey a nice advantage here. At least he doesn't have to worry about Mary meets "Liz" this time. Be interesting to see if Mary thinks better of Peter than Diana Prince did in the treasury.
I also agree with you on how Peter would regard Mary. This looks like early Spidey (mid-60s or so), so I think he'd be more likely to treat her as a peer, not realizing how much younger she is than him.
I recognize Spidey, Mary and Doc Conners (the Lizard) but who is Mary knocking out?
Herkimer, one of Mr. Mind’s Monster Society of Evil minions.
He and his fellow Croc-man hailed from the planet Plunkus.
Ooops! That should read "Punkus." Sorry about, Chief!
@Anon715: lol! Could've been worse. You could have misspelled it with another 7-letter variant!!
;-D
March along, you belong, you belong, you belong, to the Mary Marvel marching society!
Isaac
@Anon831:
MJ Watson: "Shazam!!!"
Lightning & Thunderclap: BA-DA-BOOM!
[Spidey stands speechless.]
MaryJane Marvel: "Face it, tiger. You just hit the jackpot."
Mr. Talky Tawny: "I beg your pardon?!"
@Carycomic: lol!
Testing, testing, 1-2-3.
I wonder if the Lizard would be considered worthy of respect or racist condescension by reptilian extra-terrestrials like the Badoon?
@Aon1037: he'd probably be told to hiss off.
