Chewbacca and The Fur Force in: "Trial by Fur!"

It looks like the third appearance of this team will truly put its leader to the test.  Let's hope this hairy rebel has what it takes to see it through.  Chewbacca and The Fur Force last appeared as an animated series in STF #3920, and made their debut in STF #1258.

Love this team!! Such a fun concept, plus the Chewbacca art is so early/classic Marvel Star Wars! And working in Tygra from Thundercats always makes my heart soar!!

I'll bet he's had a precognitive vision of an alternate future where "Mars Attacks Kashyyyk!"

Either that, or he's having a nightmare in which Rocket Raccoon usurps his role as Fur Force leader.

Where's Werewolf By Night? Or Man-Wolf

Nice to see Hoppy is back. Mists seem to raise all kinds of problems. It's helpful to know Chewy and the team can communicate so well.

@Det. Tobor: oh, great! Now, you've got Pharrell running through my head.

"Tobor's so 'Hoppy' that his favorite Marvel
Bunny is back, he is jumping through the roof!"

He's too busy trying not to get found by Bobo Fay, Ranae Holland, Josh Gates, etc. etc. ad nauseam.

Weird... it seems like this team has way more than three appearances, and that they go farther back, into the triple digit issue numbers. Wonder why? Oh well... great job as always, Ross!

What? No G’nort???

G'nope! Absolutely g'not. :-)

@Anon957: Seriously???

There already are two Marvel characters (Beast and Tigra) and two DC characters (Ch'p and Hoppy), and that's generally Ross's limit for groupings. Seven is also a good limit for the number of group members overall. And while I'm completely unfamiliar with this Tasmanian Devil*, I think this lineup is spot-on.

*As opposed to his Loony Tunes namesake. And we still need a team-up between the two.

That Taz is also a DC character, he was a member of Justice League International.

@Bob G: imagine if Wolverine and Giganta an Australian love-child. That was the initial concept of Tasmanian Devil as one of Dr. Mist's Global Guardians. An Australian superhero whose size and strength increased in proportion with his bestial rage.

@Anon230: sounds more the Silver Age Hulk...with fur.
