The final episodes of Doom Patrol are about to hit HBO Max, and it will be interesting to see how the series ends up. I've enjoyed it so for, although sometimes it does seem to be spinning its wheels with no resolutions to its many ongoing plot points. Now that the end is in sight, I am looking forward to some closure for the characters.

i'm a bit confused. It looks like Hulk wants to give an electric shock to the robot man in front of him instead of smashing him?? Why would Hulk bother with that?

Maybe this isn't the real Hulk. Maybe it's one of Immortus' Space Phantoms assuming the form of the Hulk in order to terminally short-circuit the Doc Magnus version of Cliff Steele. Given that Gen. Immortus was an early recurring foe of the original Doom Patrol, I'd consider the synchronicity to be worthy of a real comic book.
Then, again, this could be an Ultronicized Robotman being fought by the child-like Hulk (who was a lot brighter than even Doc Samson gave him credit for).
P.S.---when I say "original Doom Patrol," it refers to the fact that this redesign of Robotman (attributed in-story to the Metal Men's founder and leader) was done for their second generation. The one featuring Josh Clay as Tempest, Arani "Caulder" as Celsius, and Valentina Vostok as Negative Woman.
