Great title and interesting premise. Sort of the old fish-out-of water theme in reverse!
@Kevin: he's creator (Dan Stevens)-owned. On that basis, he debuted at Pacific Comics, before traversing through Eclipse, Comico, and Dark Horse over to IDW Publishing.
Those first three companies, btw, are now defunct.
Unfortunately, Dave Stevens passed away back in 2008. His artwork was always outstanding, and he was a super nice guy.
A truly unsung hero, then. :-(
At least he saw his character made into a movie.
